Well.  A charming place this is, to be sure.  Econtra, is it?  Well, you've certainly got the Big Brother vibe down pat- constantly monitored, people snatched from their lives as... recruits to some ridiculous fighting force?  Bollocks.  I'd ask you to forgive my language, but at the moment, I don't particularly care.  Right now, in fact, all I'd like to know is how the bloody hell I got here.   Mmm?  I was told that... 'the others' would fill me in on the rest.  Do go on, then; I'm most curious.

Regardless, I shan't be here long.   My husband is not restricted by simple human laws; he took me to the end of the universe and back again, he'll be able to find me here.

'Allo there. Suppose you're lost like the rest of the new arrivals then? I'm the Doctor, nice to meet you, anyway, yes, you've been pulled out of your time-space through the void and into this one! Charming, isn't it? I thought so... well, not really, more like annoying and blastedly inconvenient. I know that's really not much of an answer, but it's what I've got without rambling on and on and on, and I do that you know, ramble. Anyway! 'Allo! Welcome to the end of the world! You're one of the lucky few who've been snatched away from their home dimensions into this one - a dead Earth, so to say, to be the last barrier against a group of malicious creatures called the Entropi! It's more of a civil war really, though, see, there's the Entropi and the Keepers, both the same race of hyperdimensional weirdness, and they're at war over a few things, mostly deciding if they want the humans on this planet to stick around.

It's really a storm in a teacup, honestly, but we're what's left now. Y'know, last final stand and all that glorious nonsense.

Hadn't the Warden explained it well enough to you? Using some absurd machine, they managed to draw a mulititude of individuals from a variety of universes. You, as well as I, so happened to be one of them. Strangely enough, the Warden does not give us much instructions, aside from when some malevolent creature, known as the Entropi, attacks.

Does that answer all your questions?

Heh, that is true indeed. Of course, the Warden isn't intending to let on anymore...leaving all of us to just scramble around the compound due to the lack of activities. A few of us have been here for a year actually...do you still believe your husband will be able to rescue you?

It's just a title- it means I'm part of the peerage. Technically, Tarminster is the estate I inherit; it's property, position, money, and so on.
